In Brief: Sears Exec Moves

A brief look at some of the day's stories.

SEARS EXEC MOVES: Sears Holdings Corp. said Wednesday that David McCreight will serve as president of Lands’ End. McCreight had been serving as interim president of the division. The retailer also named Maureen McGuire to a newly created position of executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Sears Holdings Corp. McGuire previously worked at IBM where she served as vice president, strategy and marketing at IBM’s worldwide systems and technology group. The retailer also said Corwin Yulinsky joined the company as executive vice president, customer strategy and insight. Yulinsky previously worked at McKinsey and Co., where he was “a leader of the financial institution’s practice and consulted with a variety of national financial institutions, developing customer relationship and distribution strategies.”
