STEIN GETS DESIGN POST: Jennifer Beth Stein has been named vice president of design at G-III Apparel Group for the soon-to-be launched Sean John young contemporary sportswear line. Stein, who brings over 12 years of design experience, joins the firm from Tommy Hilfiger Corp., where she was senior vice president of women's design for Tommy Jeans. Prior to that she was at GLO Jeans, a division of Jones Apparel Group. In her new role, Stein is responsible for all aspects of design of the collection. She reports directly to Sean Combs, founder of Sean John, and Jeanette Nostra, president of G-III.
