NEW YORK — Industry 212 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center here, held Sept. 29-Oct. 1, showcased a variety of brands that crossed markets from streetwear to accessories.
With 600 exhibitors at the spring exhibition, the show highlighted 173 new companies — some just starting out, others trying the trade show route for the first time. But the exhibitors and retailers at Industry 212, produced by Advanstar Communications, were also offered a seminar series, including topics such as “Style in a Changing World” from David Wolfe, creative director at the Doneger Group, and “Creative Marketing and Promotion Strategies on a Shoe String Budget.”
