Cristina Azario, Frette’s creative director, said a new upscale Yacht Collection is being introduced in Frette’s spring-summer assortments. It offers the option of personalizing accessories for a yacht, such as emblems or monograms, in an entire range of linens and related items for the bed, bathroom and tables.
A Frette spokesman said the company expanded its at-home collection because of demand from “a number of our customers who have yachts and needed to have the appropriate luxury items to decorate them.” He said Frette has several hundred such accounts.
Neither prices nor a first-year sales projection were available at press time. But the spokesman said customers could “easily spend over $100,000” in one visit.
