JOCKEY PROMOTIONS: Jockey International has made two promotions within the company’s Management Information Systems department.
Jim Cook, director of MIS operations and technical support, has been promoted to the new post of director of Global Applications Development. In this expanded role, Cook will provide strategic direction to Jockey’s international businesses, as well as domestic corporate-wide applications. Cook will manage all Jockey applications systems project leaders and business systems analysts.
Brian Elliott, manager of Technical Operations, has been promoted to the post of director of MIS Operations and Technical Support. In this new role, Elliott will direct the managers in the Jockey Data Center and Database and Data Security areas. Elliott will also continue to manage efforts of the Help Desk, Network Services, Network Support and Microcomputer Support teams.
Cook and Elliott report to Frank Schneider, senior vice president, chief financial officer and chief information officer.
