BETSEY GETS INTIMATE: Betsey Johnson Inc. has signed a licensing agreement with Carole Hochman Designs to produce sleepwear, at-homewear, daywear and foundations bearing the Betsey Johnson name.

Seth Morris, president of the Hochman company, said, “Distribution will be very consistent with Betsey Johnson’s current distribution to better department stores and better specialty stores.”

A first-year wholesale sales projection was not available.

PRIAMO SHUTS SHOWROOM: Priamo Inc., a designer sleepwear firm, has closed its New York showroom at 183 Madison Avenue, where it was located for 20 years.

Owner and designer Priamo Espaillat could not be reached for comment Friday at the company’s manufacturing facilities at West New York, N.J.

Sheila Solomon, who served as national sales manager and merchandiser since 1987, said the company continues to manufacture goods in New Jersey, but noted, “there was a lack of traffic. Basically, Priamo is cutting costs and closing the showroom is one way to do that.”

NEW NATORI SITE: The Natori Co. has launched its first Web site at natori.com. The site, which is not an e-commerce venture, features information and visuals about the company, the brands, the collections and media coverage, said Josie Natori, designer and chief executive officer.

There also is information about store location for consumers who want to purchase the company’s Natori lingerie, sleepwear, at-homewear, foundations and Natori accessories; Josie daywear, sleepwear and at-homewear, and Cruz sleepwear and at-homewear.
