Last year’s Designer for Tomorrow Winner Ioana Ciolacu had her debut runway show at Berlin Fashion Week. A 2013 London College of Fashion graduate, Ciolacu presented graceful silk separates with graphic hand-drawn bird and plant prints. Looks ranged from sporty bomber jackets to sleek, bowed jumpsuits in black, white and bright salmon. Punch-cut leather gave a pixilated, playful feel to the well-shaped shifts, strapless dresses and short playsuits. Ciolacu, from Romania, also has a capsule collection of printed jackets, T-shirts and sweatshirts that’s being sold at Designer for Tomorrow sponsor Peek & Cloppenburg stores in Germany and Austria, and online at FashionID.

"It's really hard sometimes. I think I have a reputation for being really tough and aggressive and pushy but I really am a very shy person who wants to be liked, and that's the conflict constantly. There's something that takes hold - I want people to like me, I don't want to be mean - but if I see something that just cries out to be answered, I go for it," says renowned NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell.
