NEW YORK -- Joni Zeller-Claxton has been named vice president of hosiery design for Ithaca Industries here, effective Jan. 31.
She will take on the responsibilities of Sunny Miller, who has resigned from Ithaca, where she was vice president of research and development for eight years.
Zeller-Claxton has been with Kayser-Roth Corp. as vice president of design for the past eight years.
Miller left Ithaca to become president of a new company in the Los Angeles area.
The company, yet to be named, is based in Compton, Calif. It will make hosiery and underwear for mass market chain stores and is a division of Kleer Vu Industries in Compton, which manufactures fashion accessories.
Miller will report to H.P. Park, chairman of Kleer Vu.
