NEW YORK -- A memorial service for Janina Willner, a former executive for Bloomingdale's, will be held on March 2 at 5:30 p.m. at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home, 1076 Madison Ave., at 81st Street.
According to a former colleague, Jane Tuma, Willner died Feb. 17 of a heart attack.
Willner started her career at Bloomingdale's in 1946. For more than 40 years she was instrumental in the growth of the company's accessory division. When she retired about five years ago, she was assistant vice president and fashion director for fashion accessories. Willner is survived by a sister, Pola Rudowska, who lives in London.
