NEW YORK -- Joan Persic, vice president of marketing for the Vanity Fair and licensed Eileen West brands at Vanity Fair Mills, has left the company.

Persic joined Vanity Fair Mills in May 1992 as vice president of sales. She was later promoted to her most recent post at Vanity Fair in February 1994.

Before joining Vanity Fair, she had been vice president and divisional merchandise manager of intimate apparel at Neiman Marcus. Persic could not be reached for comment.

Karyl Chongas, vice president and general manager of the Vanity Fair brand, said Friday that Persic had left to "pursue personal interests." Persic had reported to Chongas.

Chongas said that a successor has not been named.
