Three cities, two continents, two coasts, three days. So far this week, sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the designers behind Rodarte, have been in São Paulo (Monday), Los Angeles (Tuesday) and New York (Wednesday). By the time you’re reading this, they’ll be en route back home to L.A. They have trick-or-treaters to prep for. WWD caught up with them — on two separate phone calls — a few hours before Thursday’s Fashion Group International Night of Stars gala, where they were honored as “luminaries,” to talk about Halloween, not knowing what to wear and their recent guest-editing gig at A Magazine.
"I think that all anyone really wants in life is to have people understand us for who we actually are, despite everything," says Ruth Negga. The actress talks "Preachers" season 2 and more on WWD.com. #wwdeye (📷: Dan Doperalski)
"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
