It was V-day at Kaviar Gauche, as designers Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna Kühl took to V-shaped seaming, pleats, accents and vents with an absolute vengeance. Their love of triangles surfaced in a short bronze silk georgette dress with a gold half bodice that called up visions of armor, or a strapless gown with leather bands accentuating the bodice. Peplum accents had a triangular flair, and looked especially fetching on an acid yellow satin halter top paired with flowing silk pants, while silvery python bands converged in a V on the bodice of a white silk crepe gown. A white silk shirt had similarly placed seams, topping an acid yellow cheerleader’s skirt with — yes, you guessed it — V pleats.
