Energetic Berliner Kilian Kerner showed an eclectic, often ungainly mix of sportswear-inspired separates and formal wear. Dresses for women were stiff and slightly dowdy in iridescent leather and heavy satin, while men paraded in quilted track suits and leather jackets. Quirky intarsia and embroidered motifs on dresses and the backs of jackets included an antlered stag, and a tiger wearing a fedora. Despite his animal instincts, Kerner might do well to follow the scent of his own more staid second line, Senses, which is featured at House of Fraser.

"It's really hard sometimes. I think I have a reputation for being really tough and aggressive and pushy but I really am a very shy person who wants to be liked, and that's the conflict constantly. There's something that takes hold - I want people to like me, I don't want to be mean - but if I see something that just cries out to be answered, I go for it," says renowned NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell.
