NEW YORK -- Michael Kors and Henri Bendel teamed up for a trunk show last Friday and brought in $123,000 in spring sales.
Kors visited Bendel's Fifth Avenue flagship for three hours and chatted with customers during modeling of his collection.
Among the bestsellers were a navy wool gabardine short jacket, selling 10 units at $495; a kilt, which sold 10 pieces at $195, and trousers, which sold nine units at $295, both in navy and black wool gabardine.
In navy and white striped matte jersey, a fitted T-shirt sold seven pieces at $475, and an off-the-shoulder T-shirt sold five pieces at $475.
