NEW YORK -- Krizia is seeking a U.S. partner for the jeans portion of its Trends of Krizia collection.
Reached in New York Monday, Aldo Pinto, chairman of Krizia, confirmed reports the Italian fashion house is looking for such a deal.
"Basically, it does have a good chance in the U.S. If we do find the right people, why not?" said Pinto.
Trends of Krizia, the company's casual sportswear operation, is a $20 million annual business worldwide and is available in Europe and the Far East, said Pinto. It is not currently available in the United States.
Marketing Management Group, a management and financial consulting firm here, is working on developing a joint venture for the jeans line.
