NEW YORK — Fred Langhammer, chief executive officer of The Estée Lauder Cos. served up his best advice to Fashion Institute of Technology students at a breakfast Thursday.
Langhammer, speaking to graduates of the master’s program in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management, advised aspiring executives on such topics as the importance of learning to speak additional languages, continuously striving to take on responsibility in the workplace, carefully choosing the people you work with and understanding the global marketplace. In fact, Langhammer sees opportunities in Russia, China and Eastern Europe.
