Working in some of the stylishly voluminous proportions of the moment — full skirts, swingy jackets, princess coats and dresses of the tent, trapeze and shift variety — Lela Rose demonstrated her ethos of easy elegance into a pretty parade with nary a misstep. Rose makes clothes for the girl who wants her prettiness sans the precious factor, so the designer kept looks at bay with fabrics such as washed taffeta and judicious amounts of glitz.
