Lena Hoschek doesn’t deviate from her signature rockabilly dirndl style, but her fall collection—accompanied on the runway by a Jazz soundtrack — was more Americana than alpine. Crisp white-cotton shirts and pussycat-bow silk blouses covered in autumnal floral prints were tucked into her trademark circle skirts, while dotted chiffon prom dresses with cinched waists came in bright red and black. White-on-black prints covered demure Fifties-style dresses but also a sassier fitted minidress. Mannish high-waisted pants were well executed, and when paired with a dark blue cashmere sweater, offered a nice contrast to some of the almost-too-sweet looks.
