PARIS — Karl Lagerfeld is breaking fashion ground again, this time with a collection for the Swedish retail giant H&M. “I like the idea of my name being used on a broad scale,” he says. The Karl Lagerfeld for H&M line will be launched tonight at the Pompidou Centre here and will include women’s wear, men’s wear, accessories and even a fragrance. It’s bound to be one of the hits of the holiday season when it lands in the firm’s stores on Nov. 12 — especially since the company is spending millions on marketing.
