MILAN — Stuart Vevers, creative director for LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned Loewe, will present his debut men’s wear collection June 27 to June 28 during Paris fashion week.

Vevers joins a number of designers expanding into men’s wear for the first time this season in Paris. Riccardo Tisci, creative director for LVMH brand Givenchy and Balmain’s creative director, Christophe Decarnin, will also make their men’s wear debut in the City of Light.

Loewe, a 160-year-old Spanish luxury firm, best known for its leather goods, tapped Vevers, at the time design director for Mulberry, to replace Jose Enrique Ona Selfa last year.

Before joining Mulberry, Vevers designed accessories for companies including Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Luella, Calvin Klein and Bottega Veneta. He also designed his own signature accessories line. In 2006, Vevers won the prize for accessories designer of the year at the annual British Fashion Awards at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
