Twin sisters Kym and Alexis McClay are known for designing cute, flirty dresses for young women who aren’t shy about flashing some skin. They didn’t disappoint in their fall collection for Naven.
They got creative with cutouts, snipping fabric above the tummy and braiding a neckline out of macramé. Most of the hemlines stopped at midthigh. The few pieces that did unfurl enough cloth to skim the ankles also featured daring slits and high-low hems, so that even long looks showed off plenty of leg.
Palette-wise, the pair went bold, with colorful abstract prints and bright shades like fuchsia and orange.
While hardly practical for fall in most parts of the world, or even that original when it comes down to the design, the collection was filled with fun — perfect for a carefree night on the town.
