Imagine if Miss Havisham decided to escape her miserable life as a jilted bride, cut up her wedding gown and then went out dancing. That’s the effect Luciana Salamone created with her lace, tulle and chiffon dresses, and shorts trimmed with raw edges and messy cutouts. While the pieces’ fit and finishing left much to be desired, they will likely appeal to young, rebellious women who favor the decrepit-baby-doll look.
