Malaika Raiss took few risks for fall, and primarily showed the kind of loose cuts and slouchy forms she’s proven capable of in the past. While she's one of the youngest designers on the fashion week schedule, Raiss' label is already popular with her Berlin contemporaries, who seem content that she's sticking with what she does best. Her shirtdresses are staples, and appeared this time in white, chocolate brown and coral, some worn under a long wool cardigan in mottled browns. Loose, emerald green velvet pants were paired with a crisp Boho white shirt, while a deep burgundy suit was more masculine in cut. A short coral silk dress with a flap detail on the front swung sweetly, and Raiss' oversize wooly coats and white palazzo pants had appeal.
"I think that all anyone really wants in life is to have people understand us for who we actually are, despite everything," says Ruth Negga. The actress talks "Preachers" season 2 and more on WWD.com. #wwdeye (📷: Dan Doperalski)
"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
