NEW YORK - Services for Marianne Mooney, 67, a buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue for 40 years, will be held today at 9:45 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 215-28 38th Ave. in Bayside, N.Y.

She died Thursday of a heart attack at her home in Southhold, N.Y., according to her niece, Angela McNamee.

Mooney joined Saks Fifth Avenue in 1951 as a glove buyer and later added accessories to her duties.

Mooney continued as a fashion jewelry buyer and was subsequently named fine jewelry buyer before retiring two years ago.

Other survivors include a sister, Helen McNamee, and four nephews.
