FERAUD NAMES PREZ: Marie Bottone has been named president of Louis Féraud Inc., the North American division of the French ready-to-wear firm. Bottone succeeds Lewis Koppelman, who resigned to pursue other interests, according to a Féraud spokeswoman.
Bottone — who joined the company in 1995 — has held the post of vice president since 1999 and will report to Michael Rover, chairman and managing director of Féraud Worldwide. In addition, David Perez was promoted to chief operating officer and chief financial officer. He has been with the company since 1996.
NEIMAN MARCUS PITCHES IN: Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson broke out of the Beltway Friday to attend the Greenwich Breast Cancer Alliance luncheon and fashion show at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, Conn.
Neiman Marcus White Plains sponsored the event. Evelyn Lauder was among the 800 people who turned out to help raise more than $1 million for the Breast Cancer Alliance. As the keynote speaker, Thompson announced a $400,000 grant to be donated to Community Health Center in Middletown, Conn.
Furrier Giuliana Teso flew from Italy to attend the show and see her furs, rtw and accessories on the runway. On Saturday, she hosted a trunk show in her in-store shop at Neiman Marcus’ store in White Plains. Several of the guests from the fashion show turned out the following day to meet her and see her designs up close, a Neiman Marcus spokeswoman said. She declined to comment on trunk show sales.
GARSON TAKES TWO: Garson International has hired Stuart Edelman as director of production and design for the firm’s women’s and men’s lines, and Ronald Hirsch as sales director for men’s outerwear. The pair used to own Bedford Sportswear, which produced the first licensed Kenneth Cole men’s outerwear collection.
Edelman and Hirsch are based at Garson’s New York office and report to Marc Garson, chief executive officer and creative director of Garson International. Founded 12 years ago by Garson, the company produces women’s and men’s leather and suede outerwear under the Rem Garson label, as well as women’s and men’s leather Lucky Brand Dungarees outerwear and men’s Fubu The Collection and Fubu Platinum outerwear.

The murals are McCoy’s interpretation of a Christmas eve party, the idea of charity and the spirit of family. His third mural, pictured here, is the most personal.
