SANGRIA ON TAP: Kellwood Co.'s ENC division has created a new line called Sangria, a misses' and contemporary dress line to complement its other offerings. Kunal Shah, previously head designer at the dress label Believe, has been named design director for Sangria. Shah was also formerly designer at better and bridge sportswear and dress house Nicole and moderate dress firm Rabbit Rabbit.Shah will be based in Los Angeles and report to Penny Aschkenasy, executive vice president of ENC. "We have the opening price point line with Studio Ease and we have our better dress line with David Meister," Aschkenasy said. "Sangria will fall in the middle...at moderate price points."Based at ENC's headquarters in City of Industry, Calif., Shah will report to Michael Gordon, division head, Studio Ease. Bruce Philips, a sales executive with Studio Ease for the last 10 years, will head up sales for the Sangria division.
