The women's and children's summer market at the Chicago Apparel Center, Jan. 14 to 18, features several special events targeting accessories. Susan Glick will lead a tour of accessories trends in the Trend Gallery, Saturday, Jan. 15 at 9 a.m. and Sunday, Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. A seminar on personalizing accessories trends takes place Monday, Jan. 17 at 9 a.m., and an accessory networking dinner takes place the same evening at 6 p.m. Both events will feature accessories expert T.J. Reid.
Chicago designer Caroline Rose will be the featured designer in the New Directions fashion show on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. A show of traditional sportswear looks takes place Sunday, Jan. 16 at 6.30 p.m. Both shows will be held in the 14th floor ballroom.
Also planned is a seminar on getting your open-to-buy right on Sunday, Jan. 16 at 9 a.m. in the conference center.
