PARIS — There are flights of fancy that don’t quite take off, and there are others that simply soar. Christian Lacroix’s spring couture collection was one of the latter, as he blended all sorts of luxurious yet light materials with a wealth of trimmings. But his trump card this season, in fact, was the element of wearability — many of the clothes would dress down beautifully.
