NEW YORK -- A memorial service for Thomas Silveira, 43, an assistant designer for Arnold Scaasi, will be held Aug. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Innocents, 128 West 37th St. here.

Silveira died May 26 at Beth Israel Hospital here from AIDS-related complications, according to his sister, Clare Silveira. Services were held May 31 at St. John's Cathedral in Fresno, Calif.

During his 21-year career, Silveira worked in design for Ronald Kolodzie, Julio Dimitri, Carolina Herrera and Hanae Mori.

In addition to his sister Clare, Silveira is survived by three other sisters, Mary Kosta, Bernadette Davis and Nika Silveira; two brothers, Vincent and Jerry, and his parents, Mary and Joseph.
