DALLAS -- Michael Mendoza has been named senior international marketing manager for the Dallas Market Center Co., which includes the International Apparel Mart.
Mendoza is charged with helping sales representatives do business with stores in Mexico and in Latin America. He will provide information on protocol, credit and shipping.
The appointment completes the DMC's international marketing staff and follows last month's hiring of Roberto Burford as director of international development to run a permanent office in Mexico and attract Latin American retailers to shop here.
Diane Tanner was responsible for Mexico until she resigned last November. The DMC then elected to intensify efforts to build Latin American trade by employing two trade specialists.
