There’s no mistaking a Michael Sontag dress. His signature silk constructions are complex yet look breathtakingly simple, leaving one wondering how he did it. For spring, he added an element of dazzle, embellishing his draped shapes with Swarovski crystals. They accented spaghetti straps holding new apron-like halters and pulled and punctuated dresses and tops without distracting from the grace of the garments. White and athletic grey T-shirts contributed a more relaxed note, appearing both under and over assorted looks.
