The designer was again influenced by art movements, this time Fifties Op Art and California conceptualism. Her subtle asymmetrical sweaters, jackets and jersey dresses looked sleek and monochromatic, with pops of chartreuse silk in homage to Josef Albers. The linear juxtapositions of hemlines, seams and textures were a nod to John McLaughlin and Bridget Riley that proved chic and wearable.
