NEW YORK — Funeral services for Milton J. Bluestein, 90, the founder of Plymouth Shops, will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1076 Madison Ave., here. Bluestein died at his Palm Beach, Fla., home on Jan. 28 of congestive heart failure.

Bluestein founded the women’s specialty stores in 1924 and led its growth to a 50-unit chain with stores on the East Coast. He sold the chain in 1970 to Allied Stores and retired in 1975. The Plymouth chain is no longer in business.

He is survived by his wife, Gabrielle; a sister, Mini Cohan; two daughters, Barbara Bluestein and Marion Galison; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
