The swinging accessories scene is glancing back to the Sixties, turning out bold and graphic Op Art-inspired styles. Chelsea boots, geometric Lucite jewelry and a dose of flower power are some of the looks making designers mad for Mod. In challenging economic times, accessories remain a bright star in the fashion galaxy. The $30 billion accessories market is highly fragmented, but handbags and jewelry are the sector’s largest categories.
