“It’s hair on holiday,” said hairstylist Lyndell Mansfield, who was working backstage at Mulberry with Bumble and bumble. Coifs may have been on vacation but they packed a lot of product. Mansfield dampened hair with Thickening Spray and Surf Spray and massaged the products into roots until dry. She then blew the ends of hair dry to straighten them slightly. Brilliantine was then worked through the ends and Hair Powder was worked into the roots to give a grungy texture.
Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury created a dark Bordeaux mouth for the presentation. “It’s quite grungy and cool,” she said. The deep red lip, created using a mix of MAC Cherry and Vino lip pencils and red and Ruby Woo lipsticks, was set against a pale complexion devoid of blush. Tilbury created a slightly greasy eye by coating lids with a blend of Eight Hour Cream and MAC Pro Cream Colour Base in Air Force Blue to give a grayish sheen. Eyebrows were filled in and lashes coated with mascara.
