NEW YORK -- Kathy Nedorostek has been appointed to the new post of chief operating officer at Judith Leiber, the luxury handbag firm here.
Nedorostek, who starts Tuesday, had been with Saks Fifth Avenue for eight years. Most recently, she was divisional vice president of designer ready-to-wear and designer sportswear.
According to Leiber, Nedorostek will be responsible for the firm's expansion into retailing. Judith Leiber, with a $20-million annual volume, was acquired in March by British watch distributor Time Products PLC.
