NEW YORK — Valentino, Olivier Theyskens, Alberta Ferretti and Ralph Rucci will be among the honorees at Fashion Group International's 22nd annual Night of Stars.
The black-tie gala, scheduled to take place at Cipriani 42nd Street on Oct. 27, will be centered around "The Romantics" and will celebrate members of the fashion, design and business communities whose work exemplifies the night's theme.
Valentino will take home the night's Superstar Award. Other awards will be given to fashion designers Rucci, Theyskens and Ferretti; makeup artist Pat McGrath, and architect William McDonough. Donald Trump, meanwhile, will receive a special award recognizing him as a visionary business leader. The Fashion Oracle Award will be handed to book publisher Prosper Assouline. Simon Doonan will be the evening's emcee.
This year's lead sponsor is Saks Fifth Avenue, while Givaudan, In Style, Kellwood and Vertis are presenting sponsors.
