NEW YORK — Beverly Miller Potter Navarro, cofounder of the fashion jewelry firm Navarro Alternatives, died July 18 at the Jewish Home for the Aged in San Francisco due to complications related to Alzheimer’s disease. She was 72.

A native of Brooklyn, Navarro and her husband, David, moved to San Francisco in 1973, the same year the couple founded the firm.
