WASHINGTON — Robert Verdisco, former president of the International Mass Retail Association, died last week at his home of complications from cancer. He was 60.
Verdisco led IMRA from 1990 until his retirement in 2002, a period of great expansion and consolidation for the discount retail industry. Before becoming president, Verdisco was the association’s vice president for government relations.
