The cause of death was a brain hemorrhage, according to his son, Robert.

Davis was a co-owner and vice president of Loomtogs Inc., a misses’ sportswear manufacturer, which he joined just before World War II.

After spending many years with the firm, Loomtogs was sold to the Fred Perry activewear and sports gear company. Davis stayed on for a couple of years as vice president and would continue to work in the industry up until the age of 84, when he retired.

In addition to the son, Davis is survived by a daughter, Barbara, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
