NEW YORK — Sidney Steinberg, owner of Bridal Creations Co., died in Passaic, N.J., on June 4. He was 84. The cause of death could not be learned.

A lifelong New Jersey resident, Steinberg attended New York University and New York University Law School. He soon took over his family’s business, Bridal Creations, in Manhattan and ran the company for more than 50 years.
He was involved with many religious organizations, including Congregation Chevra Thilim, the Hillel Academy and Congregation Adas Israel. He is survived by his companion, Debbie Bennet; his sister, Bertha Feldman, and a niece, Marilyn Friedman.”
