Model-of-the-moment Arizona Muse lived up to her name this season—at least the muse part—walking major runways in all four cities. Beyond the numbers—tallying 62 appearances—Muse also landed the highly coveted roles of opening or closing 16 shows. In New York, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti and Anna Sui featured her in both positions. After being tagged Prada’s exclusive last season, this 5-foot, 10-inch brunette got a workout for the fall shows, walking for Marc Jacobs, Prada, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Balmain and Valentino.

Known for her unmistakable bob, among other attributes, the New Mexico native used to sport long blonde hair, but her career skyrocketed after she cut her hair short and went back to her natural brunette shade. “I love having my hair short and I intend to keep it short for a while,” said the 22-year-old mom, who spends her free time playing with her two-year-old son, Nikko.
She describes herself as “Calm, happy and grateful,” and told WWD if she weren’t a model, she’d be a midwife. “I cannot imagine anything more beautiful than helping mothers deliver their babies.” Meanwhile, she cranks up Bob Dylan and the Cold War Kids on her iPod and waits for the shows to get rolling. Any secrets, besides the obvious good genetic fortune? “Crealine makeup remover that’s very gentle on the skin, plenty of moisturizer and I drink a lot of water.”
