NEW YORK — Origins plans to reestablish its roots with a renewed focus on wellness, enhance its customers’ peace of mind by relaunching its aromatherapy-based collection of the same name and up its appeal among younger consumers.

The Estée Lauder Cos., parent company of the 14-year-old brand, took the first step toward these goals in December 2003, when it named Daria Myers senior vice president and general manager of Origins. Myers was a founding member of the team that created Origins and worked on the brand for 10 years, rising to senior vice president of global marketing.
