NEW YORK -- The American International Outerwear Show, held for the first time last month, will return next year to the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas with a new name: Outerwear Expo.
GroupExpo of Montreal, the show producer, said the second edition is slated from Wednesday, March 29, to Friday, March 31, 1995, a week earlier than this year's show. The earlier dates avoid conflicts with religious holidays and market weeks, the organizers said.
The American Fur Industry and the Leather Apparel Association will once again sponsor the show, which is the only trade exhibition for outerwear, an industry that generates annual retail sales of about $14 billion.
