American Eagle Outfitters gave a presentation of the fall offerings of its three collections on Thursday. The season at American Eagle itself meant an array of basics — slouchy boyfriend cardigans, crisp blouses and denim minis — stylishly layered to the hilt. The models were outfitted with geek-chic lenless glasses, which suited the polkadot dresses and patterned knitwear to a T. The intimates line Aerie also looked playful, with flirty lingerie and dormwear casuals dotted with whimsical prints. At Martin + Osa, however, the offerings were more refined. The inspiration was the two figures behind the label's unusual moniker, explorers and naturalists Martin and Osa Johnson, which translated into outdoorsy sportswear and preppy separates with a menswear influence.
Alberta Ferretti's "Rainbow Week" sweaters are back. The designer closed her #MFW show with a few day-of-the-week sweaters, which first debuted on the catwalk last January as part of the pre-fall 2017 collection. #wwdfashion (📷: @delphineachard)
