Polo Jeans Co. is adding two new jeans styles to its mix, calling each a "new fashion basic."The first style is the Kelly, a women’s low-rise boot-cut jeans that are slim at the knee and thigh. The rise is one inch lower than the other jeans on the line, and there is a slight pitch from back to front on the body. It is produced in 10-ounce cross-hatch denim and available in light and medium sandblasted washes. The second style, the RL Langley, is a men’s loose-fit jeans with a straight leg and zip fly."The Kelly is our new fashion basic boot-cut jean," said Ross Klein, senior vice president of marketing for Polo Jeans. "It’s available in a variety of washes and fits and is meant to be a wardrobe staple and a nice mix between casual and dressy. It’s also priced so the customer can buy multiple pairs."Polo Jeans unveiled the styles at a showroom party last week. The theme was "blue," in honor of the traditional denim color. Bubbles Bott, president of Polo Jeans Co., and Klein announced a new partnership the company will begin with JetBlue Airways that will include a national sweepstakes offer in the fall.The Kelly retails from $49 for rigid fabric to $59 for stretch fabric.
