She is based in the company’s New York office and reports to Jacki Nemerov, executive vice president of Polo Ralph Lauren.
Hall has taken on a new role for the company and is responsible for strategic leadership and day-to-day management of Collection and Polo Ralph Lauren Accessories, which includes bags, small leather goods and belts. Hall will focus on profitability, ensuring the business’ growth and the positioning and enhancement of the brand internationally.
The company is getting ready to unveil a 6,500-square-foot store in Istanbul later this month. Stores in Dubai, Kuwait City and two in Saudi Arabia are already up and running.
There were plenty of accessories featured in the designer’s runway show last month in New York including hats, bags, scarves, belts, sunglasses, turbans and jewelry. Like many of his competitors, Lauren is making a greater push with the category, which continues to be a favorite with shoppers.
With more than 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Hall most recently served as senior vice president of Burberry, where she was responsible for global merchandising, planning, accessories and shoes. During her career, she also has held senior-level positions with DFS Group Limited, a division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, as well as I Magnin, J.W. Robinson and Macy’s Atlanta.
