SAN DIEGO -- Cecelia Post has resigned as president and as a director of Body Drama, Inc.
Post started the innerwear operation in 1985 as a division of Beeba's Creations, a women's sportswear firm. In 1991, Body Drama was spun off, although Beeba's continues to be the majority shareholder.
A spokesman for the company said Post left to pursue personal interests. He said Steven P. Wyandt, chairman and chief executive of Body Drama, would take over Post's duties, but would not say if a successor will be named. Post could not be reached for comment.
Wyandt also has been president of Beeba's Creations since 1987.
Additionally, Body Drama announced that Stephen Davis, who was senior vice president, had left the company. His position has been eliminated, the company said. Davis, who also resigned as a director, had been senior vice president since May 1993. He could not be reached for comment.
These moves follow a loss reported by Body Drama for the first quarter ended Nov. 30. The loss was $229,253, against a profit of $176,753, or 6 cents a share, in the year-ago quarter. Sales, however, were up 44 percent, to $10.1 million from $7 million.
