While pretty and spunky, Clare Waight Keller's debut collection last season was a little short of the house's specialty — luxe knitwear.

So for spring, Keller dipped into the archives and came up with a spate of finely spun pieces that were both appealing and versatile, such as tony shifts in a gauzy knit with pretty pleated insets.

And sporty knits — a beige boatneck top or slouchy basket-weave sweater — could work as well in the city or at the beach when paired with shorts, flirty skirts or slim pants.

A well-knit package.
