NEW YORK — In its latest management change, Revlon has named Elizabeth Kenny as senior vice president, portfolio brands, which includes oversight of Almay, Ultima II and StreetWear.

The company’s announcement Wednesday confirms a report in WWD on Friday that Kenny was leaving Clairol to join the struggling cosmetics firm. She replaces Vanessa Solomon, formerly executive vice president of Almay and Ultima II, who had been in the position for two years.
Kenny, whose most recent title was director of retail color North America delivery and global design, had joined Clairol in 1992, where she worked on many brands including Nice ‘n Easy, Herbal Essences, Hydrience and Natural Instincts. Prior to Clairol, which was acquired by Procter & Gamble last year, she worked on hair care and fragrance marketing at Chesebrough-Pond’s.
“I am delighted to be joining a company with a strong brand equity and legacy like Revlon,” said Kenny. “There is tremendous opportunity for growth within the Almay and portfolio categories. I look forward to leading the team that drives that growth.”
Kenny joins her former Clairol colleague Debra Leipman-Yale, who was named executive vice president, Revlon Global three months ago. Kenny reports to Jack Stahl, Revlon president and chief executive.
